Watermelon is the official state vegetable of Oklahoma. We’ve never been to Oklahoma, but we saw the musical once ... Anyway, we applaud their choice of state vegetable (yes, fun fact it is technically a fruit as well as a vegetable). It’s far more exciting than the White Potato (looking at you New Hampshire).
